GNOME 3.4 gets Zoom Options

GNOME 3.4 was released on March 28, 2012 and includes new options for configuring the zoom feature. These options are part of the GNOME Shell Magnifier that the IDRC has been developing as part of the AEGIS(Ontario) project. The new zoom options allow you to change the magnification factor, the mouse tracking, the position of the magnified view on the screen and enable crosshairs to be added to help you find the mouse or touchpad pointer. For more information on the zoom settings, visit: http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.4/#rna11y.zoom-settings To get GNOME 3.4, visit: http://www.gnome.org/getting-gnome/ BONUS: Another GNOME 3.4 feature developed by the IDRC is the new brightness-contrast effect in Clutter. This low-level feature will be the basis for new brightness and contrast zoom options coming in GNOME 3.6, so stay tuned!
